The wild oregano oil 10% is an essential oil from oregano that is organically cultivated in Greece (Origanum vulgare spp. Hirtum) in organic olive oil with a very high concentration in hydroxytyrosol (15mg – 20mg per 20g of olive oil). Hydroxytyrosol is an antioxidant polyphenol and can be found at the olive tree’s fruits and leaves (Olea europaea L.). The European Food Safety Authority has highlighted the importance of hydroxytyrosol in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.
