Recommended dosage and preparation
Take one teaspoon of field chopped roots for half a litre of water.
Bring to a simmer for 3-4 minutes and let sit overnight. This will allow the active substances to be extracted without extracting the very bitter taste too much. Drink the half litre throughout the day.
Side Effects and Contraindications
Considering the very bitter taste and the fact that this bitterness can stimulate the production of gastric acid in the stomach, avoid the ingestion if you suffer from gastric or duodenal ulcer.
